Last week I cracked open a bottle of the relatively inexpensive Winter White wine from Leelanau Cellars. Ignoring the cost, it’s about a 79/100 on my own personal wine scale. Palatable but not an everyday favorite.
Leelanau Cellars is located in Michigan’s upper peninsula. They produce many seasonal and affordable wines that are widely distributed across the state’s retail shops. It’s actually quite challening to go anywhere in Michigan and not see Leelanau Cellars products scattered around.
Because I was in the mood to film something, here’s a video of me opening the bottle and tasting it (about 3 minutes long).
